Train and Bus
From Lugano's main train station (Stazione di Lugano), take the train towards Bellinzona. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Locarno' station. Once you arrive at Locarno, exit the train station and look for the bus terminal, which is adjacent to the train station. Take bus number 315 towards 'Vogorno' (the bus stop is clearly marked). The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Vogorno, Lago'. From there, follow the signs that lead to the lake, which is a short 5-minute walk.

Direct Bus
From Lugano, you can also take a direct bus. Go to the 'Lugano, Stazione' bus stop and board the bus number 33 towards 'Locarno'. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you reach Locarno, transfer to bus number 315 towards 'Vogorno'. Get off at 'Vogorno, Lago', and from there, it’s a 5-minute walk to the lake.
