Getting There

Walking
Start at the Ascona lakeside promenade (Lungolago), a popular area lined with cafes and shops. Head towards the main square, Piazza Giuseppe Motta. From there, walk towards the east along Via Borgo. Follow the road as it curves into Via della Storia. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Pace. Turn right, and you will find signs directing you towards the boat station. Take the boat to Locarno; the ferry ride will offer beautiful views of the lake. Disembark at the Locarno boat station. Once you’re off the boat, walk straight ahead to Largo Franco Zorzi, where the Locarno Walk of Fame is located.
