Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Lugano train station, exit the station and turn right onto Via P. Merlini. Walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Via L. M. Bianchi. Turn left onto Via L. M. Bianchi and continue walking until you reach the beautiful Parco Ciani. Walk through the park, enjoying the scenery, and exit at the far end onto Via Nassa. From there, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Posta. Turn left onto Via della Posta and walk towards the City Hall. The Public Garden of the City Hall will be on your right.

  • Public Transport

    From the Lugano train station, take the bus number 2 or 4 towards 'Cornaredo'. Get off at 'Piazza della Riforma' (approximately 5 stops). Once you exit the bus, walk towards the City Hall, which is located just a short distance away. The Public Garden is adjacent to the City Hall, so you will find it easily after you reach the main square.

    If you're near the Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola, head towards the lakeside promenade. Walk along the promenade towards the city center. As you walk, enjoy the views of Lake Lugano. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, then turn left onto Via Nassa. Follow Via Nassa until you reach the intersection with Via della Posta, where you will see the City Hall. The Public Garden is located right next to the City Hall.
