    From Monte Rosa, take the SS 299 road heading south towards Macugnaga. Continue on SS 299 until you reach the junction with the SS 34. Turn left onto SS 34 and follow the signs for Orta San Giulio. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will arrive at Lake Orta. There is parking available near the lake, but note that there may be a fee ranging from €1 to €2 per hour.

    Start by taking a bus from Monte Rosa to the nearest train station, Domodossola. Buses run regularly, and the ticket costs approximately €5. From Domodossola, take a train to Orta-Miasino station, which takes about 1 hour and costs around €6. Once you arrive at Orta-Miasino, you can either walk 1.5 kilometers to Lake Orta or take a local bus that runs every 30 minutes for a small fee of about €1.
