    If you are starting from Lugano's central train station (Lugano Stazione), exit the station and head towards the main street, Via Nassa. Walk straight along Via Nassa until you reach the intersection with Via Cattedrale. Turn right into Via Cattedrale. Continue walking uphill until you reach the stunning Cathedral of San Lorenzo. From the cathedral, take Via C. M. F. C. C. (the street that runs alongside the cathedral) which leads you to the beautiful Parco Ciani. Once you exit the park, follow the path towards the lake. Continue along the lakeside promenade until you reach the intersection with Via Ferruccio Pelli. Turn left onto Via Ferruccio Pelli. After a short walk, you will find Piazza Ing. Mario Motta on your right. It's a lovely plaza where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings.

    From Lugano's central train station (Lugano Stazione), you can take bus number 1 towards 'Lugano, Pazzalino'. Board the bus and get off at the stop named 'Lugano, Piazza Manzoni'.
