Car
If you're driving from Moshi, take the A23 road heading towards Arusha. After approximately 30 km, turn left onto the B1 road at the junction. Continue on the B1 for about 10 km until you reach a sign for Kilasiya Water Falls. Turn right onto a dirt road. Follow this road for about 3 km until you reach the parking area near the falls. Be prepared for some rough patches, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.
Public Transportation
From Moshi, take a daladala (shared minibus) heading towards Arusha. Inform the driver that you need to stop at the junction for Kilasiya Water Falls. This ride will cost around 1,000 TZS. After getting off at the junction, you will need to walk approximately 10 km along the B1 road until you see a sign for Kilasiya Water Falls. From there, you can either walk the remaining 3 km on the dirt road to the parking area near the falls or find a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) for a small fee (approximately 3,000 TZS) to take you closer.
Guided Tour
Consider joining a guided tour that includes transportation to Kilasiya Water Falls. Many tour operators in Moshi offer packages that cover the transportation, entrance fees, and a local guide. Prices vary but expect to pay around 50,000 TZS to 100,000 TZS per person depending on the services included.
