    If you are traveling by private car, start your journey from Moshi town, which is approximately 11 kilometers from Materuni. Head north on the A23 road towards Marangu. After about 6 kilometers, you will reach a junction where you should turn left onto the B1 road. Continue on the B1 for about 5 kilometers until you see a sign for Materuni Waterfalls. Turn right at the sign and follow the dirt road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the entrance.

  • Public Transportation (Dala Dala)

    To reach Materuni Waterfalls using public transportation, go to the Dala Dala (minibus) station in Moshi. Look for a Dala Dala heading to Marangu. The fare is approximately 1,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings). Inform the driver that you are going to Materuni, and they will drop you off at the junction for Materuni Waterfalls, about 6 kilometers from Moshi. From the junction, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers along the dirt road to reach the entrance of the waterfalls.
