Walking
If you are starting from the Mbeya city center, head east on Nyerere Road towards the Mbeya Bus Terminal. Once at the terminal, ask for directions to Mbalizi, which is about 15 kilometers from the city center. You can take a local daladala (minibus) heading to Mbalizi. The fare is usually very affordable. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the Mbalizi stop. From the stop, walk towards the main road, and you should see signage for IFISI ZOO. The zoo is located just a short walk away. Follow the signs, and you will reach the entrance.

Bicycle
For those who prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle in Mbeya city. Begin your journey by cycling along Nyerere Road towards the Mbeya Bus Terminal. After passing the terminal, continue cycling on the main road towards Mbalizi. It's a scenic route, and you will pass through beautiful landscapes. The distance is about 15 kilometers, so plan for about an hour of cycling. Once in Mbalizi, look for signs directing you to IFISI ZOO, which is nearby.
