Getting There

    From Ruaha National Park, head west on the A104 road towards Iringa. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A7 road. Turn left onto the A7 road heading south towards Kidayi. Follow the A7 for about 60 kilometers until you see signs for Udzungwa Mountains National Park. The park entrance is located just outside the town of Kidayi. Keep in mind that the roads can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

    To travel to Udzungwa Mountains National Park from Ruaha National Park via public transportation, start by taking a daladala (minibus) from Ruaha to Iringa. This journey typically costs around 5,000 TZS and takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once in Iringa, you will need to take another daladala to Kidayi. The fare for this leg of the journey is about 3,000 TZS and takes around 2 hours. Upon arriving in Kidayi, you may need to hire a taxi or arrange for a local guide to take you to the park entrance.
