Car
If you are driving from the Ngorongoro Crater rim, head east on the Ngorongoro road. Continue on the main road until you reach the intersection with the road to Munge. Turn right at the intersection and follow the signs for Munge. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will see signs for Ngorongoro Lions Paw by Karibu Camps & Lodges on your left. The lodge is situated just off the main road.

To reach Ngorongoro Lions Paw by public transport, you can take a dala-dala (shared minibus) from Karatu to Ngorongoro. Inform the driver that you are going to Munge. The journey takes about an hour and costs approximately 2,000 TZS. Once you arrive in Munge, you can either walk approximately 3 kilometers to the lodge or hire a local taxi, which will cost around 10,000 TZS for the ride.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location in Ngorongoro Highlands. Ensure you agree on the fare beforehand; a taxi ride from the Ngorongoro Crater rim to Ngorongoro Lions Paw typically costs between 50,000 TZS to 80,000 TZS, depending on your starting point. The taxi will take you directly to the lodge.

If you are staying in nearby accommodations and feel adventurous, you can walk to Ngorongoro Lions Paw by Karibu Camps & Lodges. Follow the main road towards Munge for about 3 kilometers. Ensure you have appropriate walking shoes and water, as the terrain can be uneven.
