From Narok, follow the signs towards Oloika. As you approach Oloika, look for the coordinates 267Q+7JH, which will lead you to the entrance of Lake Magadi Flamingo Viewing. The drive from Nairobi to Oloika takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic. Ensure to check local traffic updates before departing.

To reach Lake Magadi by public transportation, take a bus from Nairobi to Narok. Buses depart frequently from the Nairobi Central Bus Station. The journey to Narok takes about 3-4 hours. Once in Narok, you can hire a local taxi or take a matatu (shared taxi) to Oloika. Make sure to communicate your destination clearly to the driver. The taxi ride will take around 30-45 minutes and may cost around 1500-2000 KES (Kenyan Shillings).
