Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Forodhani Gardens, head east along the waterfront promenade. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Mizingani Road. Turn left onto Mizingani Road and walk straight, passing the Old Fort on your right. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nkuruma Road. Walk straight for another 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Zanzibar Park on your right. Follow the signs to the entrance.

    If you are starting from the Darajani Market, exit the market and head towards the main road, Kenyatta Road. Turn left onto Kenyatta Road and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Mizingani Road. Turn right onto Mizingani Road. Walk for about 15 minutes, passing the Old Fort on your left. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Nkuruma Road, and after another 10 minutes, the entrance to Zanzibar Park will be on your right.

    Starting from the House of Wonders, exit the building and head towards the waterfront. Turn right and walk along the coast for about 5 minutes until you reach Forodhani Gardens. From there, follow the waterfront promenade to Mizingani Road. Turn left at Mizingani Road and walk straight, passing the Old Fort on your right. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nkuruma Road, and after about 10 minutes, you'll find the entrance to Zanzibar Park on your right.
