Getting There

  • Dala Dala

    From the center of Zanzibar City, head to the Dala Dala station located near the Forodhani Gardens. Look for the Dala Dala heading to Kizimbani. The fare is quite affordable, usually around 500-1000 TZS. Once you're on the Dala Dala, keep an eye out for the Kizimbani stop, where you'll disembark. The ride takes about 30-40 minutes. After getting off, walk straight until you reach the main road (you will see signs for Abeid Spice Farm).

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Zanzibar City. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Abeid Spice Farm in Kizimbani. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare beforehand, which should be around 10,000-20,000 TZS.
