If you are in the heart of Stone Town, start at the iconic Forodhani Gardens. From there, head southeast towards the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe). Once at the Old Fort, continue heading east along the waterfront until you reach the intersection at Mkunazini Street. Turn left onto Mkunazini Street and walk straight. As you approach the end of the street, you will see Said Muhoud Mosque on your right, identifiable by its distinct architecture.

If you are near the House of Wonders (Beit-al-Ajaib), exit the building and head southwest towards the waterfront. Walk along the waterfront road until you reach the Old Fort. From the Old Fort, turn left onto Mkunazini Street, and proceed straight. Said Muhoud Mosque will be on your right before you reach the end of the street.

Starting from the Anglican Cathedral (Christ Church), exit and walk east along Kenyatta Road. Continue along Kenyatta Road until you reach the junction with the waterfront, then turn left. Walk along the waterfront and head towards the Old Fort. After passing the Old Fort, take a left onto Mkunazini Street. Walk straight, and Said Muhoud Mosque will be on your right.
