Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Zanzibar City, head towards the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe). Once you reach the Old Fort, take a right and follow the signs towards the Forodhani Gardens. Walk through the gardens towards the ocean and then continue along the coast until you reach the main road. Turn left onto the main road (Nyerere Road) and walk straight until you reach a junction. At the junction, take a right onto Kizimbani Road. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers, and you will see Zito Spice Farm on your left.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle in Zanzibar City and start from the Stone Town area. Cycle towards the Old Fort and continue along the coastal road until you reach Nyerere Road. Turn right onto Nyerere Road and keep cycling straight. After about 2 kilometers, turn right onto Kizimbani Road. Zito Spice Farm will be on your left side after a short distance.

  • Public Transport (Dala Dala)

    Locate the nearest Dala Dala (local minibus) station in Stone Town. Look for a Dala Dala heading towards Kizimbani. Once you are on board, inform the driver you are going to Zito Spice Farm. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. After disembarking at the Kizimbani stop, walk down Kizimbani Road for about 300 meters, and you will find Zito Spice Farm on your left.
