Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Zanzibar City, head towards the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe) located on the waterfront. From the Old Fort, walk south along Kenyatta Road until you reach the intersection with Mkunazini Road. Turn left onto Mkunazini Road and continue walking until you reach the roundabout at the end of the street. At the roundabout, take the first exit to your right onto a dirt road that leads towards Dole Soccer Field. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you see signs for Jambo Spice Farm Dole on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Zanzibar City. Start at Forodhani Gardens and head towards the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe). From there, take Kenyatta Road south until you reach Mkunazini Road. Turn left onto Mkunazini Road, then follow the road to the roundabout. Take the first exit on the right onto the dirt road leading to Dole Soccer Field. Pedal straight for about 1 kilometer and look for the Jambo Spice Farm Dole signs on your left.

    To reach Jambo Spice Farm Dole using public transport, head to the nearest Dala Dala station in Zanzibar City, which is near the Old Fort. Board a Dala Dala heading towards Dole or Mkokotoni. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Dole Soccer Field. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Dole stop, walk towards Dole Soccer Field, and you will see Jambo Spice Farm Dole nearby.
