You will reach the Clingmans Dome Road on your left after you pass the Newfound Gap parking area. Turn onto Clingmans Dome Road, which is a narrow, winding road leading to the Clingmans Dome parking area. The road is typically open from April to November, but check local conditions as it may close due to snow or ice in winter.
