Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are starting from downtown Houston, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the METRO bus route 82 (Westheimer). Take this bus north until you reach the stop at Memorial Dr and W Gray St. From there, walk about 10 minutes east along Memorial Dr to Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, located at 6003 Memorial Dr.

• Bicycle

  Starting from the downtown area, use the bike lanes on Smith St heading north. Continue to the intersection of Smith St and Allen Pkwy, where you will find the Buffalo Bayou Park trails. Follow the trails westward until you reach Memorial Dr. Turn right on Memorial Dr and continue biking until you reach Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens located at 6003 Memorial Dr. The ride is approximately 3 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are close to the Museum District, you can walk to Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens. Head north on Montrose Blvd until you reach W Gray St, then turn left. Continue walking on W Gray St until you reach Memorial Dr. Turn right onto Memorial Dr and follow it for about 1 mile. Bayou Bend will be on your left at 6003 Memorial Dr. The walk is about 1.5 miles and should take around 30-40 minutes.
