From the Old City, head to the nearest songthaew stop, which is typically found on the main roads such as Ratvithi Road. Board a songthaew heading towards Mae Wang. The fare is around 30-50 THB. The journey should take about 40 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at 'Mae Win' or 'Elephant Empire' when you approach the area. Once you disembark, walk for about 10-15 minutes in the direction of JJJM+R83 until you see the entrance to Chiang Mai Elephant Empire.

Take a red public bus from the Arcade Bus Station or the main bus terminal in Chiang Mai. Look for buses that indicate they are going to Mae Wang. The cost will be approximately 50-70 THB.
