Car
If you're driving from Chiang Mai, head south on Route 108. Follow this road for approximately 30 km until you reach the town of Mae Wang. Once in Mae Wang, turn right onto Route 1009, following the signs to Mae Win. Continue on Route 1009 for about 10 km. Look for signs directing you to Maeklang Elephant Conservation Community (美康大象保育中心) on your left. There is parking available on-site.

Public Transportation (Songthaew)
From Chiang Mai, you can take a songthaew (a shared taxi) from the Chang Phuak bus station. Look for a songthaew heading to Mae Wang. The fare is usually around 40-50 THB. Inform the driver you want to get off at Mae Win. Once you reach Mae Wang, you can either walk or hire a local tuk-tuk to take you the remaining 10 km to Maeklang Elephant Conservation Community. The tuk-tuk fare may range from 100-200 THB depending on your negotiation skills.
