From your accommodation in Chiang Mai, walk to the nearest Songthaew station. Songthaews are red pickup trucks that operate as shared taxis. The fare should be around 150-300 THB depending on your starting point. The ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the camp.
