From the center of Chiang Mai, head to the main road (Chang Klan Road) and find a Songthaew (red truck taxi). You can catch one at major spots like the night bazaar or near the old city walls. Tell the driver you want to go to Op Khan National Park. They may not know the exact campsite but can take you to the main entrance of the park. The fare should be around 30-50 THB per person. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes.

For a quicker option, you can use a motorbike taxi. You can find them around tourist areas or ask your hotel to call one. Inform the driver that you want to go to Op Khan National Park Campsite. This option is more expensive, typically around 100-150 THB, but it will get you there faster, usually within 25-30 minutes.

If you’re feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the scenery, consider renting a bicycle. There are many rental shops in Chiang Mai. Start by heading south on Canal Road (also known as Suthep Road).
