If you are in the Chang Phueak area, you can reach Wat Chedi Luang by walking. Start at the Chang Phueak Gate, head south along the main road (Nimmanhaemin Road) for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Prapokkloa Road. Turn right onto Prapokkloa Road, and continue walking for about 10 minutes. Wat Chedi Luang will be on your left at 103 Prapokkloa Rd. It is advisable to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes, as the walk can be warm and sunny.

For a quicker and more comfortable option, you can take a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Chang Phueak to Wat Chedi Luang. Simply approach a tuk-tuk driver and tell them 'Wat Chedi Luang' (วัดเจดีย์หลวง). The fare should range from 60 to 100 baht depending on the distance from your location. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.

You can also take a red songthaew (shared taxi) that operates in Chiang Mai. Look for a songthaew heading towards the Old City.
