Keep in mind that there may be an entrance fee to Doi Inthanon National Park, which is approximately 300 THB for adults and 150 THB for children.

For those using public transportation, take a local bus or songthaew from Chiang Mai to Doi Inthanon National Park. The journey can take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach the park entrance, you can either walk or hire a songthaew to take you to the pagodas. This last leg may incur additional costs of about 300-400 THB depending on the distance and negotiation with the driver. Make sure to return to the entrance before the last bus leaves for Chiang Mai in the late afternoon.
