Start from the center of Serekunda, near the main market. Head towards the main road (Kairaba Avenue) and walk west. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the road leading towards Brikama. Take a left turn at this junction and follow the road until you reach Karang. The Fathala Wildlife Reserve is located along this road. It is advisable to ask locals for directions to ensure you're on the right path, as some parts may be less marked.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central market in Serekunda. Head west on Kairaba Avenue, then take a left turn at the junction towards Brikama. Continue cycling straight on this road, which will eventually lead you to Karang. Be cautious of traffic and stay alert as the road can be busy. After roughly 10 kilometers, you should see signs for Fathala Wildlife Reserve.

From Serekunda, go to the nearest bush taxi station, which is usually located near the main market. Look for a bush taxi heading towards Brikama or Karang. Once you're in the taxi, inform the driver that you are going to Fathala Wildlife Reserve. The ride will take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Karang, you may need to walk a short distance to the reserve, or you can ask a local for a quick taxi or bike ride to the entrance.
