From the center of Goreme, head north on the main road (Aydınlı Mahallesi). Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the main road leading to Avanos. Turn left onto this road and follow it for approximately 10 kilometers. You will pass through scenic landscapes and small villages. As you approach Avanos, keep an eye out for signs directing you to 'Yukarı' or 'Saklı Mağara'. The pottery store is located in the Yukarı neighborhood of Avanos. Once you arrive in the neighborhood, look for the building with the address 'Yukarı, 50860 Avanos/Nevşehir' which is well-marked.

Start at the Goreme bus station, located in the center of town. Take a local bus heading to Avanos. The buses run frequently, and the ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Avanos, get off at the main bus stop. From there, walk toward the town center and follow signs towards 'Yukarı'. It's about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. You will need to navigate through some local streets, but look for landmarks like the pottery shops and local cafes to guide you along the way. The Saklı Mağara pottery store is located at the address 'Yukarı, 50860 Avanos/Nevşehir'.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Goreme to Avanos. Simply hail a taxi from the main square in Goreme or ask your hotel to arrange one for you.
