Getting There

  • Tram

    If you are near Taksim Square, head to the Taksim Metro Station and take the M2 Metro line towards Yenikapı. Get off at the second stop, Şişli-Mecidiyeköy. Transfer to the Taksim tram (T1) line towards Bağcılar. Ride the tram until you reach the Sultanahmet station. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Sultanahmet Square. From there, head towards the Hippodrome and follow the signs to Cafer Ağa Madrasa.

    If you are near Eminönü, take bus number 28, 29, or 31 from the Eminönü bus stop. Get off at the 'Caferiye Sokak' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Cafer Ağa Madrasa. Head east on Caferiye Sokak until you reach Soğukkuyu Çıkmazı, where the madrasa is located.

    If you are already in the Sultanahmet area, you can walk to Cafer Ağa Madrasa. Start at the Sultanahmet Square, then walk towards the Blue Mosque. After passing the mosque, continue straight down Caferiye Sokak. The madrasa will be on your left at the address Caferiye Sokak, Soğukkuyu Çk. No:5, 34122 Fatih.
