Walking
If you are starting from Sultanahmet Square, head towards the Hagia Sophia. From the main entrance of Hagia Sophia, walk straight down the road (Sultanahmet Caddesi) until you reach the Hippodrome of Constantinople. Continue walking past the Hippodrome, and take a left onto Babı Hümayun Street. Follow this street, and in a few minutes, you will see the entrance to the Great Palace Ruins on your left.

Begin at the Sultanahmet Tram Station. Take the T1 tram line towards Kabataş. Get off at the Eminönü station.
