Bicycle
If you're starting from Entebbe town center, head northeast on A109 (Entebbe Road) towards Kampala. Continue for about 37 kilometers until you reach the junction of Naalya-Namugongo Road. Turn left onto Naalya-Namugongo Road and continue straight for approximately 3 kilometers. The Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine Basilica will be on your right, easily identifiable by its large dome.

Public Transport (Matatu)
From Entebbe town, make your way to the main taxi park. Look for a matatu heading to Kampala. After boarding, inform the conductor that you are going to Namugongo. The journey will take about 1 hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Namugongo area, ask the driver to drop you off near the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine. It should be a short walk from the drop-off point.

Walking
If you're near the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre in Entebbe, you can walk to the nearest main road (A109). From there, take a matatu to Kampala and follow the previous instructions. Alternatively, if you're up for a long walk, head towards the main road and walk to the junction of Naalya-Namugongo Road, then proceed right for about 3 kilometers until you see the shrine on your right.

Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
From anywhere in Entebbe, look for a boda boda stand. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine in Namugongo. The ride will take about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
