Walking
If you're starting from the center of Fort Portal, head west on Mukwano Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Kabarole Road. Take a left onto Kabarole Road and walk until you see the signs for Kabarole District Headquarters. Keep walking straight, and you will eventually see the fort located at M76M+X2V on your right.

From the center of Fort Portal, rent a bicycle and start on Mukwano Road heading west. When you reach the Kabarole Road junction, turn left. Pedal straight, keeping an eye out for the Kabarole District Headquarters on your left. The fort will be located on your right at M76M+X2V. This route is fairly flat and easy to navigate.

Public Transport (Boda Boda)
From the main market area in Fort Portal, hire a Boda Boda (motorcycle taxi) and inform the driver that you would like to go to Fort Portal fort located at M76M+X2V. The driver will navigate through the local streets, and you should arrive in approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
