Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the center of Jinja, head west towards the Jinja-Njeru Bridge. Continue along the Main Street until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Kyabazinga Highway. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you see the Jinja Nile Bridge on your left. There is parking available near the bridge.

  • Public Transportation (Matatu)

    From the center of Jinja, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Njeru. Go to the matatu stage near the Jinja Bus Park. Board a matatu that has 'Njeru' written on it. The fare is approximately 1,000 UGX (Ugandan Shillings). Inform the driver or conductor that you want to stop at the Jinja Nile Bridge. The matatu will drop you off close to the bridge, and you may need to walk a short distance to reach it.
