Walking
From the center of Jinja, head east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Jinja-Kamuli Road. Cross the road and follow the path leading towards the Nile River. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the river to reach Busowoko Falls. It's approximately a 30-minute walk, so wear comfortable shoes.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jinja. Start from the Jinja Main Market and ride east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Jinja-Kamuli Road. Take a right onto Jinja-Kamuli Road and follow it toward the Nile River. When you arrive at the river, turn left and cycle along the riverbank for about 15 minutes to reach Busowoko Falls.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
Find a boda boda station near your location, such as near the Jinja Main Market. Tell the rider you want to go to Busowoko Falls. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the price before you start your journey.
Local Taxi (Shared Taxi)
Head to the nearest taxi park in Jinja, typically located near the Main Market. Look for a shared taxi heading towards Kamuli. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the junction towards Busowoko Falls. After about 10-15 minutes, you will reach the junction. From there, you may need to walk approximately 20 minutes along the path leading to the falls.
