From the center of Masaka, head to the Masaka Bus Park located on Kasaali Road. You can ask locals for directions if needed. Look for buses heading towards Mbarara or Kampala, as they often stop near Lake Mburo National Park. Purchase your ticket and board the bus. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Lake Mburo turn-off.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
After arriving at the Lake Mburo turn-off, you can catch a Boda Boda from the roadside to the park entrance. Make sure to negotiate the fare before you start your journey. The ride will take about 15 to 20 minutes. Ensure you provide clear directions to the park entrance.

If you prefer walking, after getting off the bus at the Lake Mburo turn-off, you can walk towards the park entrance. The park is approximately 8 kilometers from the main road, and it may take around 1.5 to 2 hours to walk. Carry enough water and wear comfortable shoes, as the walk can be challenging in some areas.
