From the main entrance of Mount Elgon National Park, head east on the main road towards Mbale. Continue driving for about 20 km until you reach the junction for Budadiri. Turn right and follow the signs for Budadiri. After about 10 km, you will reach the town of Budadiri. Here, you can park your car at a local lodge or designated parking area. The last stretch to Kyakondo Falls is best done on foot.
