If you're traveling by car within Mount Elgon National Park, navigate to the main access road leading to the park headquarters at Budadiri. From the headquarters, take the road towards Sipi Falls. After about 10 km, look for a sign pointing towards the Mount Elgon Hot Spring. The hot spring is about 5 km off the main road. Be cautious as the road can be rough in certain areas. Once you reach the hot spring area, parking is available nearby.

To reach Mount Elgon Hot Spring using public transportation, start from Mbale town. Board a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Budadiri. The fare is approximately 10,000 UGX. Once you reach Budadiri, hire a local motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you to the hot spring. The boda-boda fare is around 20,000 UGX for the 5 km ride. Ensure you negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
