To reach Mount Elgon National Park via public transport, take a bus or matatu (shared taxi) to Mbale from Kampala. Once in Mbale, transfer to a local taxi heading to Budadiri. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination. The taxi will drop you off near the Budadiri Office, located at 589Q+QC5, Budadiri. From there, it’s a short walk to the office.
