Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car within Queen Elizabeth National Park, head towards the main park road and exit at the Ishaka Kagamba Road junction. Continue along Ishaka Kagamba Road for approximately 12 kilometers. You will see signs for Igara Agro Tourism Centre on your left. Ensure you have cash for any park fees if you are entering the park.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transport, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from the nearest town, Kasese. Board a matatu heading towards Ishaka and ask the driver to drop you off at the Ishaka Kagamba Road junction. From there, you can either walk or hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you the remaining 12 kilometers to Igara Agro Tourism Centre. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should cost around 10,000 UGX to 15,000 UGX.
