From Queen Elizabeth National Park, drive east on the A109 road towards Mbale for approximately 270 kilometers. Turn left onto a dirt road at the sign for Pian Upe Game Reserve and continue for another 30 kilometers until you reach the reserve entrance.

Take a matatu or bus from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Mbale. From Mbale, you can hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) or a special hire taxi to take you to Pian Upe Game Reserve. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
