From Queen Elizabeth National Park, drive north on the A109 towards Kasese. Continue on the A109 past Kasese town until you reach the town of Kilembe. From Kilembe, follow signs towards Rwenzori Mountains National Park. The park entrance is located a few kilometers from Kilembe town.

From Queen Elizabeth National Park, take a matatu or bus heading towards Kasese. Once in Kasese, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) or a special hire taxi to take you to Kilembe. From Kilembe, you can either hike or hire a guide to take you to Rwenzori Mountains National Park.
