Car
If you are driving from Mbarara, take the Mbarara-Kasese road (A404) heading towards Kasese. Approximately 70 kilometers from Mbarara, turn left onto the Katwe road (a well-marked junction). Follow this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach Kabatoro. Once in Kabatoro, look for signs directing you to Lake Munyanyange Caves Lodge, which will be a short distance from the main road.

From Mbarara, you can take a bus or shared taxi heading towards Kasese. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the junction for Katwe. This journey usually costs around 10,000 UGX. From the junction, you can either walk (approximately 15 kilometers) or hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) for about 5,000-10,000 UGX to take you directly to Kabatoro and Lake Munyanyange Caves Lodge.
