If you're traveling by car, head towards the nearest ferry terminal in Ssese Islands. The most popular ferry terminal is at Bukakata on the mainland. From your location, follow the signs to Bukakata. Once you reach the terminal, you'll need to take a ferry to Ssese Islands. The ferry ride typically takes about 1-2 hours, and costs around 7,000 to 10,000 UGX per person. After arriving at the main island of Kalangala, drive towards the northern part of the island. Follow the signs for Camp Ndegeya, which is located at coordinates -0.2916592 latitude and 31.7288294 longitude. The camp is approximately a 30-minute drive from the ferry landing. Be prepared for some unpaved roads as you approach the camp.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from your location to Bukakata ferry terminal. The fare is usually around 5,000 to 7,000 UGX per person. Upon reaching Bukakata, buy a ferry ticket to Kalangala; the ferry ride will cost approximately 7,000 to 10,000 UGX. After arriving in Kalangala, you can hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) or a local taxi to take you to Camp Ndegeya.
