Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the city centre (Union Square), head east on Union Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of Union Street. Take the first exit onto King Street (A956) and follow it until you reach another roundabout. From there, take the second exit onto Beach Boulevard. Walk along Beach Boulevard, passing the beach esplanade, until you reach the beach itself. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30 minutes.

Bus
From Union Square, take bus number 11, 13 or 15 towards the beach. Buses depart frequently; check the schedule at the bus station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Aberdeen Beach. After disembarking, simply walk a short distance towards the beach to enjoy the scenic views.

Biking
You can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations around the city. Head towards the beach via Union Street, then take King Street towards the beach. Follow Beach Boulevard, which has dedicated bike lanes. The ride from the city centre to Aberdeen Beach is about 1.5 miles and should take around 10 minutes. Make sure to park your bike at the designated bike racks near the beach.
