Car
From anywhere in Ayrshire, head towards the A78 road. If you're starting from Kilmarnock, take the A71 towards Irvine. Once you reach Irvine, follow signs for the A78 and merge onto it. Continue on the A78 and take the exit towards A71/Eglinton. Follow the signs for Eglinton Country Park. Once you reach the park entrance, you'll find parking available near the Visitor Centre at Eglinton, Irvine KA12 8TA. Note that there may be a parking fee, so be sure to check the current rates.

If you're using public transport, start by taking a train to Irvine Station from places like Glasgow or Kilmarnock. Once you arrive at Irvine Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop. Board the Stagecoach bus number 11 or 12 towards Kilwinning and inform the driver that you wish to get off at Eglinton Country Park. The bus will drop you off near the park entrance. Bus fares may vary, so check the latest prices before boarding.

If you arrive at Eglinton Country Park by bus, simply walk towards the park entrance which is well signposted from the bus stop. It should take you approximately 5 minutes to walk from the bus stop to the Visitor Centre, where you can begin your exploration of the park.
