From Ayr, drive south on the A79 towards Maybole. Continue on this road for approximately 10 miles. As you approach Maybole, follow the signs for 'Crossraguel Abbey'. The entrance to the Abbey is located on the left side of the road, just after the fork onto the A77. There is a small parking area available for visitors.

If using public transportation, take the Stagecoach bus number 5 from Ayr bus station towards Maybole. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the Maybole High Street stop. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to Crossraguel Abbey. Head south on the High Street, then turn left onto the A77. The Abbey will be on your right. Look for the signs indicating the Abbey.
