Car
From Ayr, take the A77 road heading southwest towards Girvan. Continue on the A77 for approximately 20 miles. As you approach Girvan, follow signs for the town center. Once in Girvan, take the A714 road south towards Turnberry. After about 2 miles, you will see signs for Turnberry Beach. Turn left onto Turnberry Road, and follow it until you reach the beach parking area. Note that parking may incur a small fee depending on the season.

Public Transportation
From Ayr, take the train from Ayr Station to Girvan Station. Trains run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Girvan Station, exit the station and catch the number 60 bus towards Turnberry. The bus takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Turnberry Beach. Be sure to check the bus timetable for the latest schedule and any potential costs for the bus fare, which is usually around £2.50.

Walking from Girvan
If you prefer to walk from Girvan, exit the train station and head south on the A714 road. The distance to Turnberry Beach is roughly 2 miles, which would take about 40 minutes on foot. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, but be cautious of traffic on the A714.
