Getting There

    From Belfast City Centre, head to the Europa Bus Station. Take the Metro bus number 2B towards Carrickfergus. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Ask the driver to notify you when you reach the stop for Carrickfergus. Once you arrive in Carrickfergus, walk towards the town centre until you reach the junction with the A2. Continue walking along the A2 until you reach the signpost for Knockagh Monument.

    From Belfast, make your way to the Great Victoria Street railway station. Take the train towards Larne and get off at Carrickfergus station. From the station, exit onto the main road and head south towards the A2. Follow the A2 and look for signs leading to Knockagh Monument. The walk from the train station to the monument will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
