Car
If you are driving from the Mourne Mountains, head north on the A1 towards Belfast. Continue on the A1 until you reach the exit for the M1 motorway towards Belfast. Merge onto the M1 and continue until you reach the junction for the A12. Follow signs for the A12 and take the exit towards the A2. Continue on the A2, which is the Antrim Road, and follow it until you see the entrance to Cave Hill Country Park on your left. There is no parking fee, and the park is open year-round.

To reach Cave Hill Country Park using public transport, take a bus towards Belfast from your location in the Mourne Mountains. You can use the Translink website or app for the latest bus schedules. Aim for a bus that stops at the Belfast City Centre (e.g., the 238 or 70 buses). Once in the city, take the Metro bus service (Metro 1 or Metro 2) to the Antrim Road area. Get off at the bus stop nearest to Cave Hill Country Park, which is well-marked. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance. Be sure to check the bus fares, which may vary depending on the distance.
