If you're traveling by car, start by setting your GPS to Hay Bluff, Hereford HR2 0PX. From Brecknockshire, take the A470 towards Hereford. After approximately 23 miles, merge onto the A438 towards Hereford. Continue for about 10 miles until you reach the traffic roundabout. Take the first exit onto the A49. After about 3 miles, take the exit towards the B4348 towards Hay-on-Wye. Follow this road for around 5 miles, and you will find signs directing you to Hay Bluff. There is limited parking available at the foot of Hay Bluff, so arrive early during peak seasons to secure a spot.

For visitors using public transportation, take a train from Brecon to Hereford. The train journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Hereford train station, take the number 39 bus towards Hay-on-Wye. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Hay Bluff stop or the nearest stop to Hay Bluff and follow the walking path to the summit. Be aware that bus schedules may vary, so check the timetable in advance. A one-way bus ticket typically costs around £3.50.
