    From anywhere in Gwent, head towards the A465 road and follow signs for 'Crickhowell'. Once you reach Crickhowell, take the exit onto B4520 towards Tretower. Continue on the B4520 for approximately 2 miles, then turn right onto Tretower Lane. Follow this road until you see signs for Tretower Court and Castle. There is a car park available at the site, which is free of charge.

    If you are using public transport, take a train to Abergavenny station. From Abergavenny, you can catch a bus (Service 43 or 44) heading towards Crickhowell. Alight at the stop in Tretower village. The castle is a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards Tretower Court and Castle, which should take around 10-15 minutes.
