If you're traveling by car, start from Brecon town center and head south on the A40. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach the junction with the A470. Turn right onto the A470 towards Merthyr Tydfil. After approximately 3 miles, take the exit for the B4558 towards Llangorse. Follow the B4558 for about 1.5 miles until you reach Ox Hill Beacon. There is a small parking area available near the trailhead for Fan Frynych.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Brecon town center to Llangorse. The bus service is operated by local providers, and you can check the schedule online or at the bus station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Llangorse, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach Ox Hill Beacon where Fan Frynych is located. Follow the B4558 road until you see signage for Ox Hill Beacon, which will guide you to the trailhead.
